Mojo Jojo Pickles and Preserves
A former Photographer, Darkroom Technician and Photographic Archivist caught up in the transformation from print to digital, Johwanna "Jojo" Alleyne embraced the chance to use her food preparation skills as a return to her creative roots by making and sharing real things.
She started Mojo Jojo Pickles and Preserves in 2011. Originally a step towards commercializing her Slow Food Edmonton Canning Bee project, the response was so positive that she turned it into a full time pickling operation. As she has grown her operation, she has expanded her product line, exploring a variety of pickling and preservation techniques.
