Pierogerie Polish Foods Inc. is Edmonton’s first authentic organic pierogi maker. Their family tradition of making and serving premium quality pierogi began in Windsor, Ontario in 1995 in a small Polish food restaurant. It was there that the family developed the recipe and earned a reputation for excellent taste and texture.
The tradition moved to Edmonton in 2016. When her parents announced their retirement, Pierogerie owner and founder Agnes Kulinski knew that she had to act quickly, or risk losing the recipes and hard work that informed their business. Fortunately for all of us, she was not afraid to walk away from a great career to follow her dream of owning and running her own business. Pierogerie Polish Foods Inc. was born. Shortly after launching the company, she and her family bought a farm outside of Edmonton, built a commercial kitchen, started growing organic potatoes for their pierogi and have never looked back.
