Whatever you do, please please please do not boil these incredible dumplings. They deserve so much more.

If you want to pan fry
Put 2-3tbsp of oil in a pan. Heat on med-low for 1 min. Add delicious frozen dumplings to pan, heat for 3 min or until golden brown. Sprinkle 3tbsp water on top the dumplings and cover with a lid. Try to resist eating while they steam for 8 min (it’ll be hard!). Do not flip or move dumplings before they are fully cooked or they will punish you by sticking. Remove from pan and devour.

If you want to steam
Boil 4 cups of water in a pot. Place parchment paper or lettuce leaf on steamer surface to prevent delicious dumplings from sticking. Lay frozen dumplings on steamer and be sure to leave room for them to expand and grow without bother neighbours. Let those dumplings steam for 10 minutes. Remove from steamer and devour.

Yes! We have a few delicious vegan flavours that have been very popular since day one! Our Kung Pao Tofu is inspired by the classic spicy peanut Chinese Kung Pao flavours. Our Truffle Oil Mushroom Madness is inspired by our founder Ray’s favourite pizza, Funghi Misti. We also have a Herbivore Variety Pack that is packed with superfoods! It contains Kung Pao Tofu, Roasted Cauliflower Curry, and Sesame Ginger Buddha Bowl. Our vegan dumplings are for vegans, vegetarians, meatless Mondays or for whoever loves a ridiculously delicious dumpling!

Our colourful and flavourful dumpling wrappers are naturally coloured with vegetable juices and infused with herbs and spices. No artificial colouring or flavouring, ever!

Our dumplings are burst with flavours! That means they don’t really need any dipping sauces. But if you are a sauce lover, your dumpling experience won’t be complete without a sauce. We get it. So we made two delicious sauces: Shanghai-Style Ginger Scallion and Ginger Garlic Spicy. They are made without artificial flavouring, additives or preservatives. Just like our dumplings. You can also use your favourite hot sauce in your fridge (we won’t judge), or make a simple non-spicy sauce mixed with soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil.

It depends on how tough you are. The Kung Pao Tofu, Butter Chicken, and Boom Chicken dumplings are all spicy, but not too spicy. You can probably handle it. If you’re more of a mild salsa kind of person, we recommend flavours like Traditional Pork, Ginger Beef (Warning: it has lots of ginger), Maple Pork Belly, and Truffle Oil Mushroom Madness. And if you want them to be spicier, try put lots of our Ginger Garlic Spicy Sauce on them!

Yes. For our regular flavours, we have chicken flavours such as Butter Chicken, Boom Chicken, Coconut Curry Chicken. We also have beef flavours such as Ginger Beef. In addition, we have lots of vegan flavours such as Truffle Oil Mushroom Madness, Kung Pao Tofu!

We make limited edition flavours without pork as well such as Dill Honey Mustard Salmon, Feta Cauliflower & Potatoes, Rosemary Fennel Bison Stew, Basil Pesto Chicken.

All of our regular dumpling flavours are shellfish free. Some of our limited edition flavours might have shellfish. Make sure you check the ingredient list.

No. We make our dumplings and sauces taste good with real food!

Yes! We are so excited to have a gluten free line now offering both meat and vegan options. All of us are humbled by both the appreciative and unbelievably positive response from so many people who have not had dumplings in many years because of gluten allergy.

We have been working really hard since 2018 to bring you the best gluten free dumplings. There have been many, many trials on our way to arriving at the state-of-the-art gluten free dumplings today. We appreciate all the support we received to develop our proprietary formulas and domain knowledge to develop this amazing dumpling wrapper.

However you like to deliver dumplings to your mouth is the right way. You can eat them as a quick dinner by themselves, or serve them with a side of salad, in a lettuce wrap, a rice bowl, or a noodle soup. You can also serve them as an appetizer or party finger food. Whatever floats your boat.

While our founder Ray grew up in Shanghai and she loves authentic Chinese style dumplings, she created Honest Dumplings to bring a different kind of experience. Our dumplings are made with unique and bold flavours that are inspired by our favourite dishes. Our dumpling fillings are usually prepared by stewing, baking, mixing with house-made sauces instead of simply mixing raw ingredients together. We sometimes make limited edition traditional dumpling flavours such as pork and chive, Japanese gyoza as we love them too!
