You can’t go wrong with this classic meat pie. Packed full of locally sourced beef in a rich gravy and topped with aged white cheddar – they've been around since yonks ago.
Ingredients: Filling: beef, beef stock (beef stock, salt, natural flavour, sugar, beef fat, maltodextrin, yeast extract, xanthan gum, propylene glycol alginate), aged cheddar cheese (milk, bacterial culture, salt, rennet and/or microbial enzyme), onions, olive oil, flour, spice mix (salt, spice, dehydrated onion, dehydrated garlic canola oil), garlic, herbs and spices.
Pastry: flour, margarine (palm oil, soybean oil, cottonseed oil, soy lecithin), water, sugar (glucose-fructose), salt, ascorbic acid.
Contains: milk, wheat, soy.
Very tasty
There is not a single pie on the menu that I don't love! I wish I could afford more of them on each order, but hey, having even one or two in the freezer is a blessing when the parking lot is like a skating rink !
Coming from South Africa, these pies are the closest we've found to being like the ones back home! They're super tasty, deliciously flaky, and just the right amount of nostalgia in every bite. We even prefer them to the offerings we can find at South African stores here in Calgary. We're already repeat customers, and will likely continue to be!

I have really enjoyed these pies (except the Donair - personal taste - I really dislike the sweet sauce).
