As a means of supporting his family when they moved to Canada in 2002, Kasim decided to open Padmanadi in downtown Edmonton in order to recreate the successful restaurant the family founded in the late 70s in Jakarta, Indonesia.
They hoped that, by serving delicious vegetarian food, the new restaurant would help them build a similar community of friends and family in their new hometown. Over the past sixteen years, the restaurant has indeed built a reputation of being one of the best eateries in town for vegetarians, vegans, and omnivores alike.
Now, Padmanadi has begun to offer some of their most popular products as frozen for retail sales, so you can satisfy your cravings anytime, anywhere. Their first frozen home offering had to be their famous Curry Chicken. A generous portion of their yellow coconut curry and tasty mock meat cooked to perfection and frozen for freshness.
