Greek Pie - Spinach, Feta & Ricotta Cheese
Hop across the pond to the Greek Isles for this scrumptious ‘Spinach Pie’, made with heaps of spinach, ricotta, and feta cheese
Ingredients:
Filling: spinach, feta cheese (pasteurized milk and/or milk ingredients, bacterial culture, microbial enzyme, calcium chloride, water, salt), ricotta cheese (whey, milk, whey protein concentrate, cream, salt, citric acid), whole eggs, shallots, onions, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, pepper.
Pastry: flour, margarine (palm oil, soybean oil, cottonseed oil, soy lecithin), water, sugar (glucose-fructose), salt, ascorbic acid.
Contains: eggs, milk, wheat, soy.
Ingrédients:
Garniture : épinards, fromage feta (lait pasteurisé et/ou ingrédients laitiers, culture bactérienne, enzyme microbienne, chlorure de calcium, eau, sel), fromage ricotta (lactosérum, lait, concentré de protéines de lactosérum, crème, sel, acide citrique), œufs entiers, échalotes, oignons, huile d’olive, jus de citron, ail, poivre.
Pâte : farine, margarine (huiles de palme, de soya, de coton, soya lecithin), eau, sucre (glucose-fructose), sel, acide ascorbique.
Contient: œufs, lait, blé, soya.
I just wish there was a healthier oil used in the pastry rather than margarine.
If it wasn’t for the margarine - I could happily eat 1 every day!
My favourite is the Greek pie, but the others are just as scrumptious 😋
Love this pie, one of my favs, the crust is so flaky.
I love THe Greek pie in the summer - it’s lighter fare for the hotter weather. I purchase these pies by the crate! The crust is so flaky and they’re so easy to prepare.
I've been buying these pies for a few years and they never disappoint!
